LinkedIn Post Formatter
Professional LinkedIn post formatter with Unicode styling, markdown support, and advanced emoji search.
The LinkedIn Post Formatter turns Markdown into Unicode text that LinkedIn displays as bold, italic or monospace in the feed. Write your post in the editor, check the live feed preview and copy the formatted text in one click.
How it works
- Write your text in the editor. **bold** becomes 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱, *italic* becomes 𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤. Or select text and click the formatting buttons in the toolbar.
- Use the emoji search via the smiley icon or start from one of the five templates.
- Check the feed preview (desktop or mobile) and copy the post with the copy button.
How Unicode formatting works on LinkedIn
LinkedIn does not support HTML or Markdown in post text. The formatter replaces your characters with Unicode variants that look bold or italic by nature. This works on every device without plugins.
Four styles are available: bold, italic, monospace and script. The Markdown conversion runs automatically while the option is enabled. You can also turn it off and format text manually via the toolbar.
Character limit and feed preview
LinkedIn allows up to 3,000 characters per post. On mobile, readers see roughly the first 140 characters before the "see more" cut. The formatter shows your current count live and clips the preview at the right spot so you can craft your opening deliberately.
FAQ
Does bold formatting work on all devices?
Yes. The formatter uses Unicode characters, not special formatting. Every device and browser renders them. Display may vary slightly on older apps.
What is the character limit for LinkedIn posts?
3,000 characters. The formatter shows a live counter and warns you when you exceed the limit.
Can I insert emojis?
Yes. Click the smiley icon in the toolbar. You can search emojis by keyword or browse by category. Recently used emojis are saved for quick access.
