The Character Counter shows you live while you type how many characters, words, lines and paragraphs your text contains. It also checks whether the text fits the character limits of X (Twitter), SMS, LinkedIn, Instagram, meta descriptions and title tags.
How it works

Platform limits at a glance
The tool checks eight limits at once: X/Twitter (280), SMS (160), LinkedIn Post (3,000), Facebook Post (63,206), Instagram Caption (2,200), YouTube Description (5,000), Meta Description (160) and Title Tag (60). The progress bars are color-coded: green up to 80%, orange up to 95%, red above.
The distinction between characters with and without spaces matters for SEO copy where pixel width and character count both play a role.

Yes. You get both values: characters with spaces and characters without spaces. Both update live as you type.
